Almeno un decimo delle oltre 32.000 immagini della Collezione Vinkhuijzen si riferisce alle uniformi e ai costumi militari degli Antichi Stati italiani e del Regno d’Italia fino al 1900. L’Associazione Amici della Biblioteca Militare Italiana ha cominciato a riunirle in raccolte per Stato ed epoca, che sta pubblicando in formato PDF nel sito  www.scribd.com  Sono già disponibili i primi dieci PDF, pubblicati nella quarta settimana del marzo 2010 con titoli in inglese per accrescerne la visibilità internazionale.
